Being a Son of the American Legion is about more than honoring the past, it's about making a difference today. At Speedway Squadron 500, our members proudly support veterans, military families, youth programs, and community events while working alongside American Legion Post 500. Whether helping during race weekend, volunteering at community activities, supporting charitable programs, or participating in patriotic ceremonies, every member plays an important role in continuing the mission of The American Legion. Membership isn't defined by military service, it's defined by service to others. Together, we honor the sacrifices of those who came before us by strengthening our community and ensuring their legacy continues for generations to come.

How to Join Joining Speedway Squadron 500 is easy

  • Confirm your eligibility.
  • Print and complete the membership application.
  • Bring the completed application to Speedway American Legion Post 500 Bar.
  • Pay your annual membership dues.
  • Receive your membership receipt and become part of the Legion Family.
