Month of May Camping

Managed directly by Post 500 Month of May reservations, including Indianapolis 500 camping, are managed manually by Speedway American Legion Post 500. These reservations are not booked online by guests through Firefly. Month of May reservations will be entered into Firefly by Post 500 for visibility, tracking, and reservation management. 2027 Month of May camping is fully booked.

Supporting Veterans and Our Community

When you stay at Speedway American Legion Post 500, you're doing more than reserving a convenient RV space. Proceeds from our RV camping and parking operations help support the mission of the American Legion, local veterans, military families, youth programs, and community initiatives throughout the year. Since 1926, Speedway American Legion Post 500 has proudly served veterans, their families, and the Speedway community. Located just steps from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, our Post has welcomed generations of race fans while providing a gathering place for those who have served our nation and their local community. Many of the individuals who help operate our RV camping and parking events are volunteers who generously donate their time to make race weekends successful for our guests. Their dedication helps create the friendly atmosphere and sense of community that keeps campers returning year after year. We encourage guests to stop by the Post during their stay, meet our members, learn about our history, and discover the many programs and services supported by the American Legion.
