The Club Room at Speedway American Legion Post 500 has always been about more than what's behind the bar.

It's where veterans sit down with old friends and make new ones. It's where Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons, Riders, families, guests, and members of our community come together. It's where stories are told, friendships are made, race weekends are celebrated, and generations of the Post 500 family cross paths.

Our mission begins with veterans. Our strength comes from everyone who helps carry that mission forward.

Whether you're stopping in for dinner, meeting friends for a drink, trying your luck at a pull tab, attending an event, or simply looking for a place where people know who you are, there's a seat waiting for you at Post 500.

Speedway Post 500 exists because of our veterans and the mission of The American Legion. That will always be at the heart of who we are.

But a strong Post isn't built by one person or one group.

It's built when our Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, Legion Riders, staff, families, friends and community work together.

Different generations. Different backgrounds. One Post.

We want the Club Room to be a place where our longtime members feel at home, our veterans know they are appreciated, and someone walking through the doors for the very first time feels welcome.

Because the future of Post 500 isn't about choosing between honoring our past and welcoming something new.
