To join the American Legion Riders, visit Speedway American Legion Post 500. Ask the bartender for an application, fill it out, pay your membership dues, and you will receive a receipt for your payment.

The American Legion Riders at Speedway Post 500 believe every ride should have a purpose. Our chapter combines a passion for motorcycles with a dedication to veterans, military families, and the communities we serve. From charity rides and patriotic ceremonies to supporting Post 500 events and local causes, our members ride together with one goal—to make a positive impact. Are You Eligible

Who Can Join?

  • Own or be the legally registered owner of a motorcycle.
  • Hold a valid motorcycle endorsement where required by law.
  • Carry insurance as required by state law.
Membership in the American Legion Riders is open to current members of:
  • The American Legion
  • The American Legion Auxiliary
  • Sons of The American Legion

More Than a Motorcycle Club

No matter where the road leads, our mission remains the same—serving those who have served.
The American Legion Riders exist to support the mission of The American Legion through service and fellowship. Our chapter participates in a variety of activities throughout the year, including:
  • Supporting veterans and active-duty military
  • Raising funds for veteran and children's programs
  • Participating in memorial rides and patriotic events
  • Escorting veterans and honoring the fallen
  • Representing Post 500 at community events and parades
  • Building friendships through organized rides and social events
